Why I Stopped Buying the Cheapest PPE Gloves (and Why You Should Too)

I’ll say it straight: the cheapest pair of nitrile gloves is almost never the most cost-effective option for your facility. I know that sounds like something a vendor would tell you.   6. Long-term consistency – Will the vendor still be here in six months, with the same product?

Subtract the total cost of the ‘reliable’ option from the total of the ‘cheap’ option. If the difference is still significant, then consider the switch. But honestly? In my experience, the reliable option wins 80% of the time.

Real Talk: Does This Apply to Other PPE?
